Paediatric Care Support Worker

Stayathome are on the hunt for confident, fun and reliable Paediatric Care Support Workers to join their close-knit team. The successful Paediatric Care Support Worker will support clients across Truro and the Roseland Peninsula, assisting with day-to-day care responsibilities while safeguarding their independence and participation in the local community.
This is an incredibly rewarding role, with on-going training and fantastic opportunities to support local and rural communities.

Roles and Responsibilities
Stayathome offer a variety of care packages, ranging from short visits through to longer stays and accompanying clients on day-to-day recreational and social pursuits. The Paediatric Care Support Worker will support clients with limiting illness, learning disabilities, challenging behaviours, health and social needs.
The Paediatric Care Support worker will be responsible for looking after their clients’ physical, emotional and social needs, ensuring their safety and enabling them to remain in their home.
Our Paediatric Care Support Workers empower our clients, providing a gateway to independence, as well as an active and engaged role in the community.
 
Experience
– NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent in Childcare is
essential.
– NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
– Previous experience in a working with children and young people is
desirable, though not essential, as full training and support are provided
throughout.
– Full, clean driving licence and own transport is essential.

Elder Care Support Worker

The successful Elder Care Support Worker will support clients across Truro and the Roseland Peninsula, assisting with day-to-day care responsibilities while safeguarding their independence and participation in the local community.
