Elder Care Support Worker
Stayathome are on the hunt for reliable, supportive and compassionate Elder Care Support Workers to join their close knit team. The successful Elder Care Support Worker will support clients across Truro and the Roseland Peninsula, assisting with day-to-day care responsibilities while safeguarding their independence and participation in the local community.
This is an incredibly rewarding role, with on-going training and fantastic opportunities to support local and rural communities. The position is fast-paced, with no tow days being the same!
Full and part-time positions are available.
Roles & Responsibilities
Stayathome offer a variety of care packages, ranging from shortvisits through to longer stays and accompanying clients on day-to-day, recreational and social pursuits. The Elder Care Support Worker will be responsible for looking after their clients’ physical, emotional and social needs, ensuring their safety, promoting independence and enabling them to remain in their own home.
Experience
– NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent in Childcare is
essential.
– NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
– Full, clean driving licence and own transport is essential.
